This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

The 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham was an outstanding and exceptional automobile, each one of the 400 units produced in 1957 were built by hand and were not particularly manufactured by Cadillac for a profit but to make a statement to the world. The 1957 Eldorado Brougham was priced by Cadillac at 13,800.00, a typical Rolls Royce was about 9,000.00 to 10,000.00 at the same time and an average home price in the USA was around 12,200.00. A very expensive automobile to be sure. It is claimed that the 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham cost GM about 23,000.00 per unit and then retailed them for between about 13,074 and 13,800.00. Quite a way to make a statement indeed.
These vehicles were powered by a 365 cubic inch overhead valve V8...
