Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Opened in 1914 for vaudeville performances, Birmingham's historic Lyric Theatre hosted legendary performers: including Milton Berle, Marx Brother, Will Rogers, Mae West and Sophie Tucker. The historic theatre is under renovation for symphony, ballet, and stage performances. Once reopened in 2016, the Lyric Theatre will join the historic Alabama Theatre as part of Birmingham's revitalized downtown Theatre Historic District.
